AD_Pickup Shop Shark A Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 422 California	Sams77, the side mounted tire was a option in 1953 (first year of this option) so,on your 49 it didn't exist and some PO has added it to the truck. The 1/2 (3100) had a dimple on the left fender, the 3/4 ton (3600) didn't regular the dimple because of the longer bed.
