| | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 | If your intent is to really buzz the old mill and wow the troops when you pop the hood why don't you stick a OHC Pontiac inline six in it. A little mount fabbing but would exactly occupy the same space. There is a "sprint" version that came with a four barrel and I'm almost certain it had a cross flow( 12 port) head. With three side draft Webers on one side and six exhaust tubes on the other side it should make your pants leg get wet just looking at it. The basic complete engine wouldn't cost 1/3 as much as a wayne head, and it would still be all GM.
