I bought the Chevy Duty window rubber kit which included both doors the front windshield and the rear window. I just recently replaced the door rubber and window molding.
Which part are you talking about? The kit that I got had metal runners for the window guides. It worked ok. The only problem that I had was that the felt on the pieces which go on the bottom of the window opening. The felt was to thick and the metal window runner at the base of the window hit it keeping the window from rolling up all the way.
