I have several 95 S10 company vehicles, one is a 4 cylinder, the others,4.3 V-6's,all are 5 spds.None of thse trucks have T-5 transmissions, they are New Venture 3000 series. The NV transmissions have intergal clutch housing, will not bolt up to an early 6.The NV can be indentified by the mention intergal housing ann more external ribs than the T-5.In addition they have hydraulic slave cylinders to operate the clutch release.
GM tech states the T-5 was never offered in a 4.3 V-6 S10 and the 4 cylinder models switched over to the NV transmission in the early 90's.
