I can totally understand his desire to start a club, if there isnt one locally.
It might be nice to get together with other old truck folks that live near you, and not have to drive an hour or more to meetings or group events.
Some old truck folks just don't have the time or resources to participate in distance clubs, but having a group of vintage truck enthusists who all live within a few miles or so of one another, and get together once a month or so would be cool.
