| | | | Joined: Jun 2000 Posts: 2,773 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2000 Posts: 2,773 | Alternator brackets from a 72 & newer truck 350 should work. It all depends on what you want to do. The generator will run for years once properly rebuilt, and will work well as long as you don't sit idling at traffic lights for hours on end. Low rpm production is where the alternator has its advantage, but that can be changed with a smaller pulley on the generator.
