Thanks for the tips on overhauling the steering box. I'm starting to get worried. I won that auction 2 days ago and requested a total with shipping from the seller. Still haven't heard from him. Hope he doesn't shaft me on this. I NEED that box! Yah, I go to Iola every year. I generally go on Friday. I was wondering why I haven't seen you there for so many years. I didn't know anything was happening there as early as Wednesday.
Anybody got a descent steering wheel for the '41-'46 steering gear for sale? The box that I bought doesn't have one. If the wheel doesn't look too out of place in a '37 it would save me from having to cut and splice the two shafts.
