I did the same thing as STOVEBOLT suggested on my 61 apache with 235 six and drove it 44 miles on the gas that had been in the tank and sitting in a barn for 12 years!!!! It smoked like freight train and missed and sputtered and all of that but I got her home okay.So you will be okay to drive it on the trailer.
