I had an 87 Monte Carlo Aerocoupe that I bought from a pawn shop...it'd been there for a couple of years and I got it for what was remaining on the pawn ticket. It was a good deal and a fairly rare car (only 6500 of them made.)

But it was haunted. I swear it was. Every time I'd fix something, it would cut me. Even something as simple as replacing a tail light lamp...it had to break and slice my fingers open. Then there was the dashboard/speedo cable nightmare. Two weeks to get the gauges going...and a significant amount of blood lost from the hands and arms. Same problems with the power window and door lock switches...and one window motor. Again, that car tried to slice my arms and hands to ribbons. I've still got a two-inch long scar on the back of my left hand from putting new plug wires in it.

I finally gave up and sold it for twice what I'd paid...although I'd really planned to do a complete restoration on it. I even drove it from Utah to Albuquerque to deliver it to the buyer. It was one car (and malevolent spirit) that I didn't mind getting rid of.
