Well, Larry Bear -- The "world" page just started out somewhat of a lark. We had quite a few folks from different countries and we thought it would be interesting to see just where Bolters were from (world-wise). Then, we joked around a bit about having our local Bolters ("local" as in USA / Canada / Australia -- where many Bolters are) sign in to see just who their "Stovebolt neighbor" was. We never automatically put people in there because their email address is included and we figured someone could scam 'em up. Now, we were doing this when a lot of the early "spamming" was going on. Now the spam blockers, this doesn't seem to be as much of a concern.
And we have been amazed how huge this page is!! AAMOF, we need to "chop it up" (kinda like the gallery pages) in order to make it manageable.
But that's the history of that page. And it's been fun -- except for more work for Paul
