Russntustin Wrench Fetcher R Joined: Nov 2001 Posts: 182 Southern Calif.	Before painting (or varnishing) check out a product called "Penetrol" (manufactured by Flood). I 'soaked' the bare/sanded oak pcs. with it and mixed it in with the varnish. It makes varnish or paint flow real nice.
