I was thinking a simple sign that says children at play, keep your dog off the lawn!
If that doesn't work, try mouse traps, they're cheap and trust me they work. Dogs usually go near the same spot. I use to put them around the bird feeders under the leaves to keep the cats away.
If you don't like punishing the dog, I like the sprinkler system, get two, one for the dog and one for the dog owner! :mad:
