I don't know why warming the oil is any good. I guess it will run out of the can quicker that way.
As far as pouring a quart of cheap oil....if you've already drained overnight (not necessary, IMHO), then every last drop of oil and dirt is already gone.
And are you planning to let it drain overnight AGAIN to get all that cheap oil out of your engine?
