51Jimmy -- 10 grand for a paint job??? Sounds more like a restoration to me. When you say they disassemble everything, do they derust, fix dents and do all that, too? If so, I think we're talking about something that goes significantly beyond a "paint job."

When you say "paint job," I think of some one sanding down the existing finish, priming it and then top coating with a new finish. Maybe some loosening of the fenders, if required. But what you all are describing sounds pretty close to a frame off resto to me. And no wonder it costs so much.

Just trying to compare apples to apples here
