Saw a Chevy S10 this week and it was so quiet. Moved smoothly like a golf cart. On the door it said Electric Test Vehicle - University of Victoria. Was thinking it would be neat to have that electric motor in my 49. I don't need the hot rod rumble and I don't drive it long distances. Wonder if I could volunteer my truck! There are some of my hot rod friends who would rather crush their rods than put in an electric (quiet) motor.
