Well, it's that time. Tomorrow morning the Rat Truck (ex-Ugly Truck)

http://www.chevyasylum.com/bsf2004/sw/0813/040813_07r8.jpg[/img] are gonna head out for the Bonneville Salt Flats. The truck will be used in the movie, "The World's Fastest Indian" and then I'll stay for World Finals, the final LSR event of the year on the salt.
Since this is just 4 weeks after quadruple bypass, I'm gonna have to take things kinda easy, but I think it'll be fine. It's only 2 hours to the flats from my house and I'm gonna stay in a motel this time instead of camping.
It really otta be interesting to see how they do the movie filming...and if they'll use my truck as a push truck for a vintage race car (the film is recreating scenes from 62...the 64's close enough, I guess) or if it just gets parked in the pits. We'll see, I spose.
I'm really looking forward to this after being inactive for the last 6 weeks or so (including a week's hospitalization before the bypass.)
