I've never seen a big block F*** in a Chevy. At Good-Guys in Puyalip this summer there was a '50-ish panel with a small block F*** in it. At the Unfinished Nationals labor day weekend there was an AD pickup with a F*** in it. Actually its possible that one was a big one...

I wouldn't do it if it were me. But getting past the religious aspects, a big Chevy or any big GM motor will go in easier. Easier to adapt the your existing drive train. Easier to wire. Easier to adapt accessories to.

And then when the day comes to sell it...
