Is the bracket (which is, in fact, riveted) worn or is it only the bushing in the bracket? Bushings come with shackle kits and and pressed in place. I changed a rear frame shackle bushing in this log entry on my website:
Framework - Halfway Home If neglected long enough, the shackle pins can wear all the way through the bushing into the bracket metal but maybe upon closer inspection you may find you only have to replace the bushing. Good luck.
