I have a 51 1/2 ton , but its been reworked so I am unsure if everything is original '51. For instance...it has a 235 straight six, so thats certainly not original.
I have a small master cylinder leak. Chevyduty.com has master cylinders for the '51 and another for the '52-55. Frankly...they look identical and they both have 1 1/8" bore, so I'm unsure what to order. Is there a sure fire way to determine if the cylinder in my truck is indeed a '51?
