Read MartinSR's "Rattle can basics."
Do a search of the paint and body shop for it.
That will give you some good ideas.
I think it is totally possible to do.
I may do it myself. I think if you are carefull and take your time as well as do a little finish work you will be fine.
I just saw in on of the truck magazines an interior they did with a rattle can. Seemed ok too.
I would not however do my whole truck that way.
