the chase started at about 11:30 p.m. on the Baytown Freeway near the San Jacinto River after a Harris County officer spotted the motorist driving erratically on the freeway.
Hummm...driving erratically...like maybe a drunk driver...yeah, let's just let him go and then we'll come along and clean up the bodies when his "erratic" driving ends up killing someone. I bet if they didn't chase him and he ended up killing someone you'd blame that on the cops too. Probably like it was the cops fault the last time you got stopped for speeding?
