JMO, you'd be better off with a stock sbc 400; a bit more HP...and TONS more TORQUE to push your heavy truck.

Orrr, maybe a stock BBC454 from a truck/suburban...7.9cr, runs on 87 octane, a bit more HP, and even MORE TQ.

Naaah, just stick with a stock sbc 350 or 400; it'll bolt right in.(make sure the 400 has its original balancer/flexplate). cool
