My wife has a '99 Pontiac Grand Am GT with the driving lights built in to the lower bumper. They point slightly outward and do a nice job of illuminating the edges of the road. They dont make much of a difference in viewing distance but they definitely improve overall visibility.
You could say the difference is "night and day". :rolleyes:
