In my search for 8 lug wheel possibilities for 53 chevy 3/4 ton, I came across some basic steel trailer wheels 16x6 with 2.5 inches between inner edge of rim and mount surface. These are rated at 3700 Lb. A spacer MIGHT be required to use these, but is there anything wrong with using "trailer wheels" on a truck??? Some input from experts would be appreciated. It even looks like some aftermarket moon hubcaps could be used on these, since they have the appropriate ring and taps to snap the hubcaps on.
