I am ashamed to say that I had to sell my classic 68 C-10. Due to a bad knee (that was getting worse), I was having alot of trouble with the clutch.
My new rig (the Pig)gets a whopping 14 MPG highway. It's a 96 Chevy 2500, ex cab, LWB, 4wd, auto w/overdrive, 350 vortec, custom 3" exhaust. How can I increase the gas mileage? I've got plenty o' power, and at 65mph I'm at about 2200 rpms. Before you say it, I'm not a lead foot. The only time I romp it is when I have to merge onto the freeway.
If you know of any good remedies or places to get advice on this modern monstrosity, I'd appreciate the help.
