Last night my 3 year old daughter and I spent about 4 hours pulling some dogje dastoda buckets out of the 55.1. I was very fortunate in that the P.O. left the outer frame of the original seat and it was only missing the hardware.
I met a fellow bolter, Scott G. out of Illinois and purchased a frame, seat and two backs. He threw in to skirts and the floor of his old cab that had all the seat hardware, it came in reall handy.
Got the old seats out, and if anyone wants them they can have them, will need to pick them up though, holes drilled to mount already.

After the seats were out discovered what I believe to be the original jack and crank.

Realized there was litte sound deadner and that will change using techniques I learned on the bolt.
Josie and I cleaned up the cab.

I was then able to install the seat hardware and dry fit the frame. I also put in the original seat cushion so I could pull it into the garage.

Man what a great feeling to see the transformation. With rain expected the next four days I plan on putting in the sound deadner under the seat and all over and redoing the carpet interior.
