I guess they still didn't get their act together. I had a new 87 F150 and the rubber bushed ball joints would fail after a very short time. i was wondering why I was wearing front tires like a sonofagun. I took it to an alignment shop and they could move the wheels by hand almost an inch. So, I took it to the dealer who was fully aware of the problem and was perfectly willing to fix it with their improved ones. Ofcourse it cost like $400 at the time.
The front end felt better and the IFS is pretty nice but they were notorious tire eaters with really faulty camber changes and the settings could not be adjusted.
BTW, the recent Fjord tolerance has been very disturbing indeed. Aren't we liable endorsing such a flawed product?
