Hello, I was wondering how to do away with the inner fender braces, "the adjustinable rods from the firewall to the inner fender tops". I have seen many pictures of streetrods that no longer have these but as far as I can tell these are all the adjustment for the fenders and hood line-up. I really would like to keep them, but I am mounting a hydraboost on my firewall and an 80's 4-speed transmission pedal assembly to the other side of the firewall. So the driver's side rod is gonna be in the way. I was just wondering if anyone has ever run across this problem. This is a 49 deluxe mounted on an 83 cab and chassis one-ton with 4-speed 350.
