For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 1,552 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 1,552 | Check Mar-K's website. I have seen a tech article there before. Additionally, I believe the theory behind the offset hole in the bed mounting washers is to keep it from spinning when tightening the nut from below. The bolt has a carriage head with a square shoulder, however the bolt and washer will spin when tightened, if not for the offset hole and the mortise of the washer to set flush with the surface of the bed wood. Best of luck with your wood replacement. | | |
