For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2004 Posts: 204 Member | | Member Joined: May 2004 Posts: 204 | Working on my '63 and I just noticed that the Flowmaster mufflers were installed backwards. The big word INLET is stamped on the back of mine. The previous owner had them installed. I would have noticed before it left the muffler shop. My question is: Is this going to affect the performance of the engine any? Should I yake it and have them turned around? I'm going to have to carry it anyway and have the tail pipes moved so I can bolt up a receiver hitch.
