Thank you to all for your advice. It is frustrating to not have a garage otherwise I would have been happily tearin it up the minute it slid off the flatbed.
I am in th eprocess of researching another alternative. Imay have accessto a 350 motor for a good price..but am holding off on that I love the 25o sixbanger for the fact that its darn convinient to work with. I think I will keep it somehow and when I go to rebuild it warm it up a bit.
next question..would I be insane to mate the 350 wiht the 3spd tranny, provided I swap the rears to 3:7.3s??
