#16597 11/20/2003 11:37 PM | Joined: Nov 2003 Posts: 86 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Nov 2003 Posts: 86 | After running my '59 for a couple of months, yesterday I started it and it was sputtering and trying to die, I saw that the carb was POURING out fuel out of the throttle shaft!!! You guys think that a re-build will fix the problem or is a new carb the answer? (The 235 w/ 1B Rochester was very rich before and I couldn't get the soot of the plugs) The truck had sat in my Dad's barn for 3 years before I had it shipped out here. Thanks for your help in advance.
