I am not sure about the answers provide? Let me clarify my question.
I am wondering where specifically the small square rubber window stops (bumpers) are installed insde the door regulator assembly of my 1951 truck. The rubber stops can be purchased in most parts catalogs and are the items mentioned in Extreme Gangster's diagram. They have a small tappered nipple (plug) on their back side to fit within a hole similar to door or glove box bumpers.Do they fit to the window's lower metal track? on the regulator arm? or maybe on a bracket welded within the door assembly? Gotta be a pre drilled hole for them there somewhere????
