The links are held on by an arm spring retainer, this is two clips with a small spring between them. Classic Part, pg50 or any of the other vendor catalogs have good pictures of these under wiper parts. With the motor operating arm in the vertical position the wiper arms should be installed in the vertical position Denny Graham Sandwich, IL
