For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2001 Posts: 279 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2001 Posts: 279 | I am putting new upholstery on the seat in my '53 Chev pickup. Ordered from Chevy Duty and looks to be good stuff. I can't figure out where to attach the hog rings to the frame without the rings being seen from outside. It would seem like they need to attach under the seat, but the only spot I can find is the frame edge and the rings show. They would really show when I do the back of the seat, so I must be doing something wrong here. My old one had the "C" clips, but they aren't re-usable. Can anyone help me out here? A photo would help alot. Thanks. | | |
