I stuck my 53 1/2 ton in a ditch this morning with the RF wheel on the wrong side of the concrete culvert abutment and the axle resting on the top of the abutment. The towing compnay sent a Jerr Dann. Jacked the axle up with a bottle jack and while the wrecker operator winched from the rear, I revved it in reverse. It came out OK, but I smelled my clutch. No visible damage, but on the way home, I noticed It was hard to shift into 1st at stops...grinding a bit. Depressing the clutch pedal all the way to the floor seemed to help, but I didn't used to have to press it down that far. The clutch doesn't slip and seems OK when shifting up and down. Am I looking at an adjustment, or maybe a new clutch?
