I think they did originally come with a jack, since my 54 GMC has a jack mount on the right inner fender inside the engine compartment. Yeh it had the jack mount, but no jack though. One of the PO added some extra storage under the seat in my 54 GMC as well, it is a rectangular metal box that drops down through the floor under the seat. Does this sound like what the panels and burbs had under their seats?
