When looking at the remote filter parts, there are a few variables to consider:
1. Remote filter head: do you want to use 3/16"x16 (Chevy) vs 3/4"x16 (Fxxd) filters
2. Where will you mount the remote head (firewall or somewhere on the block). This choice will determine if you need a additional mounting bracket (fabricated by you).
3. The length of hoses needed is dependent on where you mount the remote head.
4. Hose fittings and possibly adapters for both ends of the hose (into the block and into the remote head).
The speedway motors site listed above has prices around $18 for the remote head and $25-$30 for ends/hoses. I have seen complete kits at Pep Boys for $25-$30 (hose, ends, and head).
