I rebuilt the door glass channels, seals, etc on my '47 a few months ago. I used Chevy Duty products. It was fairly easy to do. You basically rip out the old and bend in the new. On my truck the old window channels had staples/clips holding them to the window frame, plus a few scews. I couldn't figure out how to duplicate the staples and wound up just bending the felt channels into place and securing with the screws. It worked fine. You bend to shape best you can, then roll up the window to finish the form fit, back the window down and put in the screws. Of the restoration projects on my truck it was one of the easiest and most satisfying - it worked the first time and didn't require any swearing.
Good luck, Dave
