| | | | Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 11 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 11 | My 59 GMC had an inline brass shut off spliced into one of the heater hoses. Some old cars also had them too.you had to open the hood and manually shut it off .
