Some of us got stuck with a SBC when we bought the truck, and to retrofit back to the 6 would be a bigger expense. I'll go to another SBC unless I find a deal on something like a big block chevy. Of course if a Cummins diesel or a vintage hemi happened to drop in my lap, I might have to rethink. (Plenty of time for that while my lap is in a cast.
