Glen so sorry for so long for reply. The old girl has been neglected for a month or so for other pressing matters and waiting for parts. I can’t say anything about speed with the 3.82, she’s never been on the road after being pulled out of a west Texas tumbleweed field. I was kind of hoping for 50-55 with 6.50 16’s but haven’t done the math. I counted the gears to confirm but the 3.82 also has a F in front of serial number. 4.11 just has serial numbers. I have had the engine running, rear gears look decent when I cleaned it up and replaced the outer bearings and seals. Don’t have a clue about the clutch. The engine is a ‘46 dated replacement block with ‘39 numbers. Just took the rear leafs all apart, cleaned up, painted, new center bolts, new front spring eyes and bushings, new rear shackle kits. Crazy to pivot on threads. I’m measuring from the front spring eyes to the clamped together spring seats and the drivers side is 7/8” shorter than the passenger side.the spring seat has a slot for the leaf spring bolt to slide in for adjustment. logic tells me the torque tube is not square to the axle. I have loosened the 3 bolts where the tube goes into the banjo casting but no movement there. ‘37 manual has a bit on measuring to check if sprung but not how to adjust unless I missed it. I need a third hand to measure for squareness but will get that done soon. Any advice on squaring the torque tube?

If you are missing one component, you'll need an abundance of the others two.
