The caliper piston is suppose to be pulled back by the square cut seal, that's how they keep from dragging all the time. But to say gravity on the fluid is pulling them back even farther, that's the point I don't believe.
Hope he gets this straighten out where he can drive it, I plumbed mine backwards once, it did not stop right !
