Okay, I've read a lot of comments and threads on this site and on the AACA forums about steering box lubricant and have tried various lubricants. In one of the replies someone mentioned using a product from Tractor Supply: Super S 1 quart #00 Cotton Picker Spindle Grease, so maybe I'll try that. This winter I''m planning to replace my battery, and the speedometer cable, which the floorboard needs to come out so I may as well remove the foot board too and take out the steering column, clean it out, replace gasket and seal and so on.
So any thoughts or comments on using the Tractor Supply product?
