Lots of work on Brad's part ... pure enjoyment (and references) for you!
| | THANKS!
For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2009 Posts: 9 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2009 Posts: 9 | I know this is really an older thread, but I just got back on the site after many years. I had no proper rear fenders for my '46 1 ton Express but found an NOS pair a few years ago and drove to Cincinnati to get them. The correct fenders are the same as 1937 panel delivery truck fenders. They have mounting holes in the top and do not have the 90 degree bend that the 1/2 and 3/4 tons use that are mounted to the side of the bed. 1 tons mount to the flat metal extension that protrudes out from the wheel well. Took me many years looking at a bunch of pics of 1 tons till it finally registered that those were missing too. If Jim Carter lists them as the same as 1/2 and 3/4 tons then they are wrong. | | |
