I have a 1953 Chevy 3100 pickup that I am restoring. It currently has a 1955 Chevy 235 engine in it. It runs pretty well, but I am wanting to get a good used core/rebuild candidate going this winter so I can have a good rebuilt engine on the stand. I think this 235 is getting tired but it should last me for a bit.
Truck has the original SM420 paired to the 235 right now.
Also looking for tips and recommendations on people who have built 216 vs 235, and the benefits and drawbacks to both (besides full oil pressure difference).
