I always add Stabil to my portable gas tanks for small equipment/lawncare stuff and it's usually good for about a year, but I also usually consume what's in the tanks well before a year comes around.
Untreated, I wouldn't keep it longer than a couple of months before adding to your vehicles and filling with fresh gas.
