Mason - Once you get your picture posting skills locked in, post a thread in the
Engine Shop with pictures of your engine's casting numbers and casting date codes. In that forum, we can help you figure out what engine you have (the lack of a stamped serial number likely indicates it's a replacement engine), so you're not guessing about what info and parts you may need for tune-ups, repairs, etc.

The general location for the engine block casting numbers and date codes are on the passenger side of the engine block, usually just above the oil pan rail area and just above/behind the starter. The casting info on the head can be found on the drivers side center edge, behind the carb/aircleaner location. Looking forward to helping you with your project.
