I just received my master cylinder rebuild kit.I removed the mc and carefully disassembled it taking a picture between every step. I have the old parts laid out in order wit the new parts from the kit. The only difference I see is a snap ring I’m assuming to take the place of the clip. I’m 95 percent sure, but don’t mind bouncing it off of others. I’m getting a cylinder hone from HF and will probably throw a little paint on the outside of it as well before reinstalling.
