So much for having the truck pasture ready by May. I finally collected all the parts for the brakes minus brake lines. I got the rears finished up today. I’m still studying on how I’m going to plumb the brakes lines and trying to figure out where the ‘55 lines will end and the ‘79 start, same with the parking brake cables. Ideally I will buy premade lines, but I’m not sure. Also not sure how it’s going to have to be done with the new dual reservoir master cylinder. The disc conversion on the front comes made for 1/2 studs but I think I’m going to have a machine shop drill them out for 9/16 to match the rear. There seems to be plenty of meat on the hubs and rotors for it.
